Streets of Largo

We head in Streets & Squares this time to a slightly smaller city or shall we say town. That is, to Largo, the third largest city - after Clearwater and St. Petersburg - in Pinellas County, Florida. As well as the fourth largest in the Tampa Bay area. Largo was incorporated as a town in 1905. And yes, it is not to be confused with Key Largo, also in Florida.

Largo is of personal interest here, but there nevertheless will always be some smaller places here in Streets &Squares as opposed to the bigger and more well-known cities of the world. And if you have been to our site before, you might be quite familiar with the image on the front page - it is of Indian Rocks Beach in Largo.

As always in Streets & Squares, clicking on the address links leads you to Google Maps, and clicking on the names (usually) to the person’s Wikipedia page. As it is a bit hard to find eponymous streets or places in Largo, sometimes something else will (have to) do - which can of course make an interesting exception!
