Hi there!
This page is meant for all of you who are interested in genealogy. It aims to include all sorts of relevant information on the subject, and is being regularly updated.
It seems like the older we get, the more interested we tend to become (or many of us do) in our relatives - dead or alive. Family history becomes something we want to share and get involved in. Journeys of Life has the ambition to provide a platform to satisfy this interest.
There are plenty of other genealogy platforms out there, and many of these offer a family tree builder and DNA service. Journeys of Life provides you with another sort of service. A unique opportunity to be directly involved in expanding the database for anyone to see in the chronological environment of the site. Start here to read the site’s general guidelines of genealogy. Then here below there is a list of articles, both existing and upcoming articles on genealogy.
There are many routes and ways to learn about one’s family tree, and some of these are free - up to a point at least. It takes a lot of work and commitment if you really want to get involved with your family history, but it’s all worth it for it opens up for you a whole new dimension of your own existence.
Ancestor Day is one of the many article series appearing in Journeys of Life, telling readers' stories about their own families or ancestors. The year after a story title indicates the birth year of the person that particular story concentrates on. This list is to be expanded as time goes by. You, dear readers, are the major source of this expansion, so please do consider contributing.
