Our lives are full of them. Funny coincidences. Whether we attach any meaning to them, or just see them as what we usually call them - funny coincidences - there they are, enriching, xxxxxxing and perplexing our lives, in the myriad ways they may manifest.
They may entertain us, perplex us, challenge us.
An example. Doing online crossword puzzle on the subway on her way to work. The clue is
“Nightly activity, for most”. It’s a five-letter word, and she already has the first letter, S. So, it will most probably be “Sleep”.
At the exact moment, a fellow passenger on the subway is passing the place where she is seated, turns her head backward and says to her friend walking behind her:
You can sleep when you’re dead.
Now, you can treat that as just another funny coincidence. Of course. And not give it another thought.
But you could also take it in another way. Inducing you to ask yourself
a) am I sleeping enough?
b) am I active enough?
c) is doing crossword puzzles good for me?
d) am I taking good care of myself?
